Bicycle
From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenue du Lac. Turn left onto Avenue du Lac and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will pass through scenic countryside. Keep an eye out for signs to Lake Bunyonyi, which will guide you to the lake area.

Starting from the Ruhengeri bus station, walk south on Avenue de la Révolution. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the right path onto Avenue du Lac.
