    From the center of Ruhengeri, head west on Avenue du Lac towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the main junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading to Kisoro. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Be sure to follow any signs indicating the direction to the park.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ruhengeri. From the town center, cycle west on Avenue du Lac towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. At the junction, turn left onto the Kisoro road. Keep cycling along this road for around 10 kilometers. You will eventually see signs for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
