From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue de l'Indépendance toward Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 4. Turn left onto Route Nationale 4 and follow it for approximately 1.3 km. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. After about 1.3 km, watch for a sign indicating Nyanza to your right. Turn onto the road leading to Nyanza. Continue on this road for about 2 km.
