Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Ruhengeri, head north on Avenue du Commerce towards Avenue des Lauriers. Continue straight until you reach the main bus station (Gare Routière de Ruhengeri). This will take about 10-15 minutes on foot.

    At the bus station, look for a bus heading to Musanze. Once you find the correct bus, buy your ticket and board. The journey to Musanze takes approximately 30 minutes. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Volcanoes National Park entrance.

    After getting off the bus at the Volcanoes National Park entrance, start walking towards the park. Follow the signs directing you to the park's reception area. This walk will take around 20-30 minutes.
