If you are driving, start from Musanze Town (formerly Ruhengeri) and head southeast on the RN4 road. Continue for about 5 kilometers, following the signs towards Ruhengeri. Once you reach the outskirts of the town, keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Virunga Inn Resort & Spa. The resort is located on the road leading to the Volcanoes National Park, and you should see it on your right side after approximately 2 kilometers.

If you are using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Musanze bus station to Ruhengeri. The journey typically costs around 500 Rwandan Francs (approximately $0.50) and takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Ruhengeri, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (moto) to take you directly to Virunga Inn Resort & Spa. The moto ride should cost around 1,000 Rwandan Francs (approximately $1) and takes about 10 minutes.
