Car Rental
If you are in Southern Province and prefer to travel by car, you can rent a vehicle from one of the local rental agencies in cities like Huye or Nyanza. From Huye, take the RN1 road heading east towards Nyanza. After about 20 kilometers, you will reach Nyanza. Continue on the RN1 for another 10 kilometers until you see the signs for Ruhindi, then turn onto the road leading towards Ruhindi. The area is well-marked, and it should take you approximately 40 minutes in total from Huye.

To reach Ruhindi using public transportation, head to the nearest bus or matatu (shared taxi) station in Huye. Look for a matatu heading towards Nyanza. The fare is usually around 500 RWF.
