Car
If you're driving, head towards Nyanza from your location in Southern Province. Follow the main roads, and as you approach Nyanza, look for the signs directing you to the JPVP+M7Q area. The Mwima Mausoleum is located on an unnamed road in Nyanza. Use GPS coordinates - Latitude: -2.3557764, Longitude: 29.735747 - to guide you directly to the site. It's advisable to park your car nearby and walk to the mausoleum.
Public Transportation
To reach Mwima Mausoleum via public transport, take a bus to Nyanza. Buses frequently run from various towns in the Southern Province. Once you arrive in Nyanza, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to the mausoleum. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically should be around 1,000 to 2,000 Rwandan Francs depending on your starting point in Nyanza. Inform the driver that you are going to JPVP+M7Q, Unnamed Road.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Nyanza, you can walk to the Mwima Mausoleum from the town center. Head southwest towards the unnamed road that leads to JPVP+M7Q. The mausoleum is approximately a 20 to 30-minute walk from the center of Nyanza, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
