A Fantastic Way to Experience Lake Kivu

This tour was one of the highlights of my time in Rwanda. It offered a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and learning about life around Lake Kivu. The scenery along the shoreline was stunning, with beautiful views of the lake, rolling hills, fishing villages, and local communities that gave a real sense of the region. What made the experience special was how much local insight was shared throughout the tour. I learned about the history of Lake Kivu, the fishing culture, transportation on the lake, and the many activities available in the area. It felt much more personal than simply sightseeing. One of my favorite parts was visiting the hot springs. It was a fun and unique stop where we could relax and enjoy the warm water while taking in the surroundings. I would definitely recommend bringing clothing that can get wet so you can fully enjoy the experience. The unexpected highlight for me was the jet ski ride. Getting out on the water added a completely different perspective of the lake. The combination of speed, fresh air, and incredible views made it an unforgettable experience and easily one of the most exciting moments of the day. The tour was well organized, easy-going, and suitable for anyone wanting to explore Lake Kivu without feeling rushed. Between the beautiful scenery, local knowledge, hot springs, and jet skiing, it was a fantastic way to spend the day. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and looking for a memorable experience on and around Lake Kivu.

1 day Cultural Adventure Tour in Lake Kivu

A wonderful and enjoyable experience!

My husband and I had a great time! Our 1 day Curtual Adventure Tour in Lake Kivu began with a drive to Lake Kivu where we experienced wonderful scenery of Rwanda. Aves, our guide was friendly and he were very knowledgeable which he shared educational information about Rwanda culture, the one thousand mountains and volcanic perspectives. Boating around Lake Kivu was beautiful. The food was delicious. We ended our day visiting the ibyiwacu Curtual Village. This was absolute a very special occasion. It was awesome learning about the culture and participating in the activities. A great experience!!
