Walking
From the center of Basseterre, head west on Bay Road toward Fort Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the roundabout at the entrance to the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Airport Road. Follow Airport Road for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the Sandy Point Road. Turn left onto Sandy Point Road. After about 2 km, you will reach a sign for Sandy Point Town. Continue straight as Sandy Point Road merges into Main Street as you enter the town. Once in Sandy Point, ask locals for directions to Charles Fort. It is located on the hillside to the northwest of the town, and it's a short walk uphill.

From the main bus terminal in Basseterre, board a bus heading to Sandy Point Town. The fare is usually around $2-3 EC dollars. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Sandy Point. Once you arrive in Sandy Point, exit the bus and head towards Main Street. Walk northwest uphill towards the Charles Fort area. Follow signs or ask locals for the specific path leading to the fort.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Basseterre. Agree on the fare before getting in; it should cost around $20-30 EC dollars for a ride to Charles Fort. The taxi driver will take you directly to the entrance of the fort, which is located in Sandy Point Town.
