Getting There

Walking
From the center of Charlestown, head west on Main Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout onto the road leading to Sandy Point Town. Stay on this road for about 3 miles (approximately 45 minutes of walking). As you approach Sandy Point, you'll see signs directing you to Charles Fort. Once you reach the entrance to Sandy Point Town, follow the road to your left, which will lead you directly to Charles Fort. The fort will be on your right, overlooking the coast.

Public Transport (Bus)
While in Charlestown, look for a local bus heading to Sandy Point. You can catch the bus from the bus terminal located near the port. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Sandy Point. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sandy Point, disembark and walk towards the coast. Follow the signs for Charles Fort, which will be a short walk from the bus drop-off point.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Charlestown. From there, head west on Main Street and follow the same route as for walking. The ride will take around 20-25 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signs to Charles Fort as you approach Sandy Point Town.
