Getting There

    From the center of Charlestown, head northwest on Main Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout onto the road leading out of town. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with the road towards Sandy Point Town. Turn left onto this road. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and you will see signs indicating the direction to Fort George. The entrance to Fort George will be on your right. Follow the path up to the Citadel, which is located at the top of the hill. The views and historical significance of this site are well worth the walk!

    If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the Charlestown waterfront and cycle along the main road heading northwest.
