Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Gingerland, head east towards the main road (Main Street). Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking along the roadside. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the junction leading towards Basseterre. Keep walking straight. As you approach Basseterre, follow the signs for Frigate Bay. You may need to ask locals for directions along the way, but it's a straightforward path. Continue straight until you see the beach area of Frigate Bay on your right.

• Public Bus

  From Gingerland, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (Main Street). Look for a bus heading towards Basseterre. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Basseterre, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk towards Frigate Bay. If walking, head towards the beach area and follow the signs. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal.

• Taxi

  If you're looking for a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Gingerland. Simply ask a local for a taxi service or look for a taxi stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Frigate Bay. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance to the beach area.
