Getting There

    From the center of Gingerland, head east on the main road (Main Street). Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path towards the village of Fountain. Follow the signs that direct you towards Nevis Peak. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will enter the area known as Fountain. Keep walking along the paved road as it begins to incline slightly. You will start to see trails leading up the mountain on your right after about 500 meters. Look for a well-marked trail that indicates the start of the hike to Nevis Peak.

  • Hiking

    Once you reach the trailhead, prepare for a steep hike. The trail is well-marked with signs indicating the direction to Nevis Peak. The hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers to the summit and typically takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on your fitness level. The path is rocky, so wear proper hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. As you ascend, you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the island.
