From any location in Saint John Figtree Parish, head towards the nearest ferry terminal to catch a ferry to Nevis. The main ferry terminal is located in Basseterre. Follow the signs for 'Basseterre' and drive approximately 10 km south. Once in Basseterre, follow the signs to the ferry terminal, which is located on the waterfront. Expect to pay around $60-$70 USD for a round trip for adults. Ferries typically run every hour, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus or a taxi to Basseterre from Saint John Figtree Parish. Look for buses labeled 'Basseterre' which will take you directly to the city. The bus fare is approximately $2 USD. Once you arrive in Basseterre, make your way to the ferry terminal, following the waterfront signs. Be prepared to pay $60-$70 USD for a round trip ferry ticket to Nevis.
Ferry
After reaching the ferry terminal in Basseterre, purchase your ferry ticket. There are two main ferry services: the 'Oualie Beach Ferry' and the 'Sea Bridge Ferry.'
