Walking
From the center of Anse la Raye, head south on the main road. Keep walking until you reach the junction with the road leading to the village of Canaries. You will see a sign for Edmund Forest Reserve on your left. Follow the path that leads up into the forest area. The trail is well-marked, and you will be immersed in the lush greenery as you approach the reserve.
Hiking
If you are starting from the beach area in Anse la Raye, take the path that leads inland, heading towards the mountains. Follow the signs that indicate the direction of Edmund Forest Reserve. This trail may be steep in places, so wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy the natural surroundings as you hike up to the reserve, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the beach.
Local Bus
Catch a local minibus heading towards Canaries from the bus stop in Anse la Raye. The fare is inexpensive, and the ride lasts about 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Edmund Forest Reserve. Once you get off, follow the path leading into the forest. It is a short walk from the road to the entrance of the reserve.
