Public Bus
From the Castries Bus Terminal, take the bus heading towards Soufrière. The buses are frequent, so you should not wait long. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Government House Road. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you get off, walk uphill along Government House Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the Castries City View Point. The viewpoint is well marked, and you will enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.
Walking
If you are staying in the downtown Castries area, you can walk to the Castries City View Point. Start at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and head east towards the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the main road and walk towards Government House Road. Follow Government House Road uphill for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the viewpoint. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be steep.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in downtown Castries. Simply ask the driver to take you to the Castries City View Point on Government House Road. Make sure to agree on a fare before getting in. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are a convenient option if you prefer not to walk or take public transport.
