The fare is typically around 2-3 EC dollars. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Vieux Fort, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can walk towards the coast for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront area. Look for signs that direct you to Maria Islands Nature Reserve.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from your location in Canaries. Agree on a fare before starting your journey, which should be around 40-60 EC dollars depending on your pick-up point. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to Maria Islands Nature Reserve in Vieux Fort. They will know the exact location.

If you have reached Vieux Fort by bus or taxi, after getting off at the bus terminal, walk towards the waterfront. Head south along the coast until you reach the main entrance to Maria Islands Nature Reserve, which is clearly marked.
