Walking
Start from the center of Canaries. Head towards the main road (the one that runs along the coast). Walk northeast along the coast until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Pigeon Island. Turn left onto this road. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Pigeon Island National Landmark. From the entrance, follow the path that leads you to Fort Rodney, which is located on the northeastern part of the island. The hike may be steep in parts, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus or minibus from Canaries to Gros Islet, which is nearby. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Pigeon Island. From there, you will need to walk to the entrance of Pigeon Island National Landmark. Once you get to the entrance, follow the path leading up to Fort Rodney. Be prepared for a short hike.
