Start at the Castries Central Market, a well-known landmark in the city. From the market, head south on John Compton Highway (also known as the Castries-George F. L. Charles Airport Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the La Toc Road. At this point, you should see signs pointing towards La Toc and the surrounding hills. Turn right onto La Toc Road and walk uphill for approximately 1 kilometer. As you ascend, enjoy the scenic views of Castries and the coastline. After reaching the top, look for the trailhead leading to Mt Fortune, which is marked. Follow the trail for about 15-20 minutes to reach the summit, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the island.

Begin your journey at the Castries Central Bus Station. Take a bus heading towards La Toc; these buses are frequent and usually marked with their destination. The fare is typically very affordable. Inform the driver that you want to get off at La Toc Road. After approximately 15-20 minutes, disembark at the La Toc Road stop. Once off the bus, walk uphill along La Toc Road for around 1 kilometer. You will spot the trailhead for Mt Fortune on your left. Follow the marked trail for about 15-20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain.
