    From the center of Choiseul, head east towards the main road (Route 3). Follow the road until you reach the junction with Route 6. Turn left onto Route 6 and continue straight. You will pass the Choiseul Secondary School on your left. Keep walking until you reach a bus stop near the Vieux Fort junction. From there, you can catch a minibus heading to Vieux Fort. Inform the driver that you are going to Maria Islands Nature Reserve.

    After getting off the minibus in Vieux Fort, walk straight towards the waterfront. You will see signs directing you to the Maria Islands Nature Reserve. From the waterfront, you may need to arrange for a boat to take you to the reserve. There are local fishermen and tour operators who can assist you with this.
