Getting There

Walking
From the center of Gros Islet, head south along the main road, Rodney Bay Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cap Estate Road. Continue on this road for another kilometer until you see the sign for Mt Fortune on your right. Follow the path up to the mountain peak, where you'll find beautiful views and a peaceful environment.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Gros Islet, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road, which is about 5 minutes away. Look for a bus heading towards Castries and ask the driver to drop you off at the Cap Estate junction. Once you get off at the junction (about a 10-minute ride), walk down Cap Estate Road for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the sign for Mt Fortune on your right. Follow the path up to the peak.

Taxi
In Gros Islet, find a local taxi service, which can often be found near hotels or the main beach area. Tell the driver you want to go to Mt Fortune. The drive should take about 10-15 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Mt Fortune, where you can then begin your hike up the mountain.
