Getting There

  • Walking

    From Gros Islet, head towards the main road (Rodney Bay Road). Walk south until you reach the intersection with the Castries-Gros Islet Highway (also known as the main highway). Cross to the other side and continue walking along the highway. You may need to walk for about 30-40 minutes. Look for signs indicating 'Sainte-Anne' or 'Savane des Pétrifications' as you walk; these will help keep you on track.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Gros Islet, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Castries-Gros Islet Highway. Look for a bus heading to 'Sainte-Anne'. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver you want to get off at the Savane des Pétrifications stop. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the entrance of the park.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Gros Islet. Start by heading south toward the Castries-Gros Islet Highway. Follow the highway towards Sainte-Anne. The distance is about 10 kilometers, and you should reach Savane des Pétrifications in around 40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay on the road.
