Walking
From the center of Gros Islet, head south towards the main road (Rodney Bay Road). Once at the road, turn left and continue walking along the sidewalk. You will pass various shops and local eateries. Keep walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Castries-Gros Islet Highway (Route 1). Cross the highway carefully and continue straight. After crossing, you will see signs pointing towards Anse la Raye. Follow this road for another 20 minutes until you reach a bus stop. From there, you can catch a local bus that will take you directly to Les Anses-d'Arlet.
Public Transport (Bus)
Start at any central location in Gros Islet. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Rodney Bay Road. Look for a bus heading to Castries. Once on the bus, pay attention to the stops; you will want to get off at the bus terminal in Castries. From the terminal, find a bus heading towards Les Anses-d'Arlet. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, follow signposts to Grande Anse d'Arlet beach, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi (Shared or Private)
In Gros Islet, you can find taxi services near popular tourist spots or by asking your hotel for assistance. Request a taxi to take you to Les Anses-d'Arlet. If you choose a shared taxi, you may need to wait until the vehicle is full. The journey will take around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off near Grande Anse d'Arlet beach.
