From the center of Laborie, head northeast on Vieux Fort Highway (also known as the Laborie Main Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Blanchard. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 2 kilometers. You'll pass through a small village; just keep walking straight. Des Cartier Trail is located at R2PF+CH7, Blanchard, on your right side. Look for a sign or trailhead indicating the entrance.

Find the local bus stop in Laborie near the main square. Take a bus heading towards Vieux Fort. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Blanchard. The bus will take you along the Vieux Fort Highway. Once you arrive at Blanchard, get off and walk back approximately 200 meters along the road. Des Cartier Trail is located on the left at R2PF+CH7, look for the trailhead sign.
