After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction where you can see a sign for the Des Cartier Trail. Continue straight on this road for another 15 minutes, and you will arrive at the entrance to the Des Cartier Trail, which is located near the coordinates R2PF+CH7, Blanchard, St. Lucia.

If you're already near the forested areas in Malgretoute, start your hike towards the hills. Look for established footpaths leading towards Blanchard. This off-road route will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to carry water and wear appropriate footwear as the terrain can be uneven. Once you reach the entrance at R2PF+CH7, you will see signs for the Des Cartier Trail.

Catch a local bus heading to Blanchard from the nearest bus stop in Malgretoute. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Blanchard, ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Des Cartier Trail.
