If you prefer to walk, head towards the main road that leads out of Marigot Bay. Follow the signs towards Soufrière. It is a long walk of about 1.5 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection. As you walk, you will enjoy beautiful views of the bay and surrounding greenery. Once you reach the junction at Soufrière, follow the signs to Anse Chastanet Beach, which is around a 10-minute walk from there.

At the Marigot Bay dock, you can also negotiate with local taxi boat operators for a direct ride to Anse Chastanet Beach. This is a flexible option, as you can agree on the time of departure and the cost. The journey typically lasts around 15-20 minutes.
