Walking
From the center of Micoud, head south on the main road. Walk towards the Micoud Fisheries Complex, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Continue past the complex and follow the road as it curves left towards the coast. You'll see signs directing you towards Barre de l'Isle Ridge. The trailhead is about 15 minutes from the Fisheries Complex. Look for the marked trail leading uphill to the ridge.
Hiking
Once you reach the trailhead for Barre de l'Isle Ridge, follow the well-marked trail up the ridge. The trail is moderate in difficulty and offers beautiful viewpoints along the way. It should take about 30-45 minutes to reach the top, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Micoud and the surrounding area.
Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local minibus from Micoud to the nearest point to Barre de l'Isle Ridge. Look for minibuses heading towards Vieux Fort and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the trailhead. From there, it will be a short 10-minute walk to the trail entrance.
