If you are in the center of Micoud, walk towards the main road (the Micoud to Vieux Fort highway). Head south along the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Mondesir. Turn left onto this road. Continue on this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Edmund Forest Trail on your right. Follow the path indicated by the sign to reach the trailhead.

From Micoud, you can catch a minibus heading to Vieux Fort. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Mondesir. This ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Upon getting off, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer along the road that leads into Mondesir. Look for the sign for Edmund Forest Trail on your right as you approach the trailhead.
