Starting from the center of Micoud, head north on the main road, Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Blanchard. Turn left onto this road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will pass by several local shops and homes. Keep an eye out for signage toward Des Cartier Trail. As you approach Blanchard, you will see a sign indicating R2PF+CH7. Continue walking straight, and the trailhead will be on your right. The trail is well-marked, so you should have no trouble finding your way.

From Micoud, locate the nearest bus stop and board a bus heading toward Blanchard. The bus ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you are heading to Des Cartier Trail or that you want to be dropped off at R2PF+CH7. Once you arrive at Blanchard, exit the bus and walk back a short distance. You'll see the trailhead on your right, marked with signs. The area is generally safe, and locals are friendly if you need directions.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Micoud and cycle north on Avenue de l'Indépendance. The route is relatively flat and offers beautiful views of the countryside.
