As you approach Pigeon Island, you will see signs directing you to Fort Rodney. The entrance to the Pigeon Island National Landmark will be on your right. Enter the park and follow the well-marked paths to Fort Rodney, which is located at the top of the hill, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike in Micoud. From the center of Micoud, ride north on the Micoud to Vieux Fort Road for about 1.5 km. Turn left onto Pigeon Island Road and continue cycling for about 2 km. Be aware that the road may have some inclines. Upon reaching the entrance to Pigeon Island National Landmark, park your bicycle and hike up the marked trails to Fort Rodney.
