Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Soufrière Quarter, head east on the main road (Route 32) towards Soufrière. Continue straight until you reach Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street. You will see the Soufriere Post Office on your left. The starting point for the Gros Piton hike is just a short walk from here, at the entrance located near the Gros Piton trailhead. There is usually no parking fee, but do check for available parking spaces nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Gros Piton hike using public transportation, you can take a local minibus or taxi from any point in Soufrière Quarter. Look for a minibus heading towards the Soufrière Post Office area. The fare is typically around 2-5 Eastern Caribbean Dollars. Once you arrive at the Soufriere Post Office, walk toward Bridge Street. The Gros Piton trailhead is just a short distance away from the post office location. Confirm with the driver if they can drop you off near the post office for convenience.

• Walking

  If you're already in Soufrière Quarter and prefer to walk, locate the Soufriere Post Office on Bridge Street. From the post office, continue walking down Bridge Street until you see the signs for the Gros Piton trailhead. The hike entrance is around a 5-10 minute walk from the post office. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk is slightly uphill.
