Starting from the Micoud Village Square, head north on the main road. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Micoud Fisheries Complex. Turn left onto this road and walk for another 15 minutes. You will pass by a few local shops and small eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for local signs that might guide you towards Mt Fortune.

After passing the Fisheries Complex, continue along the road until you reach a fork. Take the right path that leads towards the hills. This path is a bit steeper, and you may encounter some uneven terrain. Walk for approximately 20 minutes. You should start to see signs of nature trails and local flora. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks if needed.

As you ascend, keep following the main trail that veers slightly to the left. You will notice the landscape changing as you approach Mt Fortune. Continue for another 15-20 minutes, and you should see the peak of Mt Fortune in the distance. The trail will become more defined as you get closer to your destination.

Once you reach the base of Mt Fortune, look for a well-marked trail that leads up the mountain. This final stretch will take about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. The trail may be rocky and steep, so be cautious. As you ascend, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
