Getting There

    Starting from the center of Vieux Fort, head southwest towards the main road, La Fargue Street. Continue straight on La Fargue Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the highway. At the junction, turn left onto the highway (Route 1) heading south. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes along the highway; you will see signs directing you towards Gros Piton and Sulphur Springs. Keep following these signs, and after a while, you will see a path that leads to the base of Gros Piton.

    From the Vieux Fort bus terminal, take a minibus heading to Soufrière. The fare is usually affordable. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Gros Piton. Once you get off, you’ll see a trail leading up to the peak. Follow the signs indicating the path to Gros Piton.
