If you are starting from Port Elizabeth, head southeast along the main road towards the village of Belmont. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the entrance of Kingstown. From there, take the first exit onto the Kingstown Main Road. Walk along this road, enjoying the local shops and sights. After about 20 minutes, keep an eye out for the Botanical Gardens on your left. The entrance is marked, and you will see a sign indicating the gardens.

If you are near the waterfront in Port Elizabeth, you can take a local ferry to Kingstown. Approach the ferry terminal and inquire about the next boat to Kingstown. Once you arrive at the Kingstown port, exit the ferry and walk towards the main road (Kingstown Main Road). Head southeast for about 10 minutes on foot until you reach the Botanical Gardens, which will be on your left-hand side.
