From Kingstown, head to the nearest bus station, which is located near the main market area. Look for a bus heading towards Buccament or Layou. The fare is usually very affordable. Once aboard, inform the driver that you want to get off at Buccament. The bus will take you along the Leeward Highway, and after about 30 minutes, you will reach the Buccament area. After disembarking, walk along Leeward Highway in the direction towards Layou. You can ask locals for directions to Layou Petroglyph Park; it is a well-known site.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Kingstown Waterfront and head north towards the Leeward Highway. This journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Follow the Leeward Highway north until you reach the Buccament area. As you walk, enjoy the local scenery and feel free to ask locals for additional guidance. Once you reach Buccament, look for signs directing you to Layou Petroglyph Park, which is a short walk from the highway.
