Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Aiga-i-le-Tai. Head southwest on Main Road (Samoa Route 1) towards the island of Manono. After approximately 15 minutes of driving, look for the sign indicating the ferry terminal to Manono Island. You will need to pay a small fee for the ferry ride, which is usually around 2-5 Samoan Tala. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive on Manono Island, follow the signs for Manono Starmound Trail. The trailhead will be clearly marked, and from there, you can hike up to Star Mound.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can catch a bus from Aiga-i-le-Tai that travels towards the ferry terminal for Manono Island. Look for a bus heading to 'Salelologa.' The bus fare is typically around 3 Samoan Tala. Once you arrive at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Manono Island (cost between 2-5 Samoan Tala). After disembarking from the ferry, follow the signs to Manono Starmound Trail, which is a well-marked path leading to the historical site.
