Walking
Start from the main village area of Mulifanua, where you can find local shops and eateries. Head towards the northwest on the main road, following the signs for Lake Lanoto'o. Continue straight until you reach the turn-off for Lake Lanoto'o Road, which will be on your left. The road may be a bit rugged, so be prepared for some uneven terrain. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will see the entrance to Lake Lanoto'o on your right. Look for signs indicating the hiking area.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in the village. From the rental shop, ride towards the main road heading northwest. Keep an eye out for the turn-off onto Lake Lanoto'o Road on your left after a short ride of approximately 1.5 km. The road is hilly, so be cautious and enjoy the scenic views as you pedal towards Lake Lanoto'o. Once on Lake Lanoto'o Road, continue cycling for about 1 km until you reach the hiking area entrance.
Local Transport
Check for local transportation options such as 'fares' (shared taxis) that operate around Mulifanua. Ask the driver to take you to Lake Lanoto'o, and they will know the route. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance of the hiking area.
