Starting from the center of Mulifanua, head towards the main road that leads south. As you walk along the road, you will pass various local shops and houses. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Vailoa. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction. At this junction, take the left road towards Vailoa. Continue walking straight for another 25 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the area. You will notice the landscape changing as you approach the waterfalls.

Once you reach Vailoa, ask locals for directions to Afu Aau Waterfalls, as the entrance is not always clearly marked. The path to the waterfalls may require a short trek through some local trails. It is advisable to follow any signs that indicate the direction of the waterfalls. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking on the trail, you will start to hear the sound of the water. Follow the sound, and you will arrive at the beautiful Afu Aau Waterfalls, where you can take some time to enjoy the natural beauty and perhaps take a dip in the refreshing waters.
