Walking
From the center of Salelologa, head east towards the beach along the main road (Salelologa Road). Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you approach Savaia, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Giant Clam Sanctuary. Once you reach Savaia, follow the signs which will lead you directly to the entrance of the sanctuary.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Salelologa. Start at the main square and cycle east along Salelologa Road. The ride will take you about 10-15 minutes to cover the 1.5 kilometers to Savaia. Look for signage for the Giant Clam Sanctuary as you ride along the road, which will guide you to the entrance once you reach Savaia.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Catch a local bus from Salelologa to Savaia. Buses typically leave from the main bus stop in Salelologa. The journey to Savaia is short, usually taking about 5-10 minutes. Once you arrive in Savaia, disembark and follow the signs towards the Giant Clam Sanctuary. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the sanctuary entrance.
