Walking
From Salelologa Market, head east on Main Road (also known as Saleaula Road) towards Palauli. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Pulemelei Ancient Mound. Look for signs along the way. Turn left onto the road that leads to the mound, which will be marked with local signage. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to the site. The walk will take you through some beautiful local scenery.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Salelologa and start your journey from the town center. Head east on Main Road (Saleaula Road), following the same route as pedestrians. After approximately 3 kilometers, you’ll reach the intersection with the road leading to the Pulemelei Ancient Mound. Make a left turn onto that road and continue for another kilometer. Riding a bicycle will allow you to enjoy the surrounding views and local culture along the way.
Local Bus
Take a local bus from Salelologa to Palauli. Buses typically leave from the main bus stop near the market. Ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance to the Pulemelei Ancient Mound. Once you get off, walk about 1 kilometer down the road leading to the mound. Look for signs to guide you along the way. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not operate frequently.
