If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Salelologa, the main ferry terminal on Savai'i Island, and take the Main South Coast Road (also known as the Lotofaga Road). The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Follow the signs towards Lotofaga and continue along the scenic coastal route. You'll pass by beautiful landscapes and small villages. Look for To-Sua Ocean Trench along the Main South Coast Road; the entrance is marked, and there is a parking area available.

For those who prefer not to drive, you can hire a taxi from Salelologa. The taxi ride to To-Sua Ocean Trench will take around 1 hour and costs approximately 60 to 80 Samoan Tala, depending on the negotiation with the driver. Make sure to confirm the return fare with the driver beforehand.

Public buses (known as 'vans') are available from Salelologa to various parts of Savai'i. To reach To-Sua Ocean Trench, take a bus heading towards Lotofaga. The fare is typically around 7 Samoan Tala. Inform the driver of your destination; they are usually familiar with local attractions. The bus ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Lotofaga area, you may need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the entrance of To-Sua Ocean Trench.
