From the center of Acquaviva, start at the main square (Piazza della Libertà). Head east on Via della Libertà and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Repubblica. Turn left onto Via della Repubblica. Follow this road as it curves and leads you into the countryside. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at a fork in the road. Take the right path onto Via Eugippo. Continue walking for about 500 meters and you will see Cava dei Balestrieri on your left. The entrance is marked and easily visible.
