Getting There

  • Car

    From Monte Caio, head southeast on Via della Libertà toward Via della Repubblica. Continue straight onto Strada di Montegiardino. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Strada Statale 72, continuing towards Città di San Marino. Once you reach Città di San Marino, follow the signs for Guaita Tower. You will need to park at one of the designated parking areas in the city. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around €1.50 per hour.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, start at the Monte Caio bus stop. Take the local bus line that goes towards Città di San Marino. Check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Città di San Marino, exit the terminal and walk towards Via Salita Alla Rocca. Follow this road uphill; it will lead you directly to Guaita Tower. The bus fare is usually around €2.00.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Città di San Marino, from the city center, head towards Via Salita Alla Rocca and begin your ascent. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes uphill, so wear comfortable shoes. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area.
