From Lembá, head northeast on the main road towards São Tomé City. Follow the signs indicating 'Porto Alegre' and continue straight for approximately 30 km. Once you reach the port, find the local ferry terminal. Note that you will need to park your car in the designated area near the port as vehicles are not allowed on the ferry.

Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Príncipe at the terminal. The ferry schedule can vary, so it is advisable to check the times in advance, especially during weekends or holidays. The ferry ride usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth boarding process.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a taxi or a shared taxi (known locally as 'táxi colectivo') from Lembá to São Tomé City. The fare is typically around 100,000 Dobra (STN) per person. Once in São Tomé, head to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Príncipe. Ensure you have cash on hand for both the taxi and ferry fares.
