To reach Sao Tome Island from Santa Catarina, you will first need to make your way to the nearest major port. Since you are not traveling by car, the best option is to take public transportation or a taxi to the port city of Florianópolis. From the city center, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 180 or 183) that will take you directly to the main terminal at Parque da Lagoa.
