From the center of Trindade, head southeast on Rua da Liberdade towards the intersection with Rua de São João. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the local market. Turn left onto Rua do Mercado and walk for approximately 200 meters. You will see a sign for a hiking trail leading to the waterfalls. Follow this trail, which winds through lush vegetation. The hike will take around 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace, and will lead you directly to the Saint Nicholas Waterfall.

From the beach, take the coastal path north until you reach the trailhead for the waterfall, which is marked by a small wooden sign. This route is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Be prepared for some steep sections and ensure you have appropriate footwear. The trail will eventually lead you through a series of rocky paths and lush greenery before reaching the stunning Saint Nicholas Waterfall.
