If you are driving from the city center of Abha, start by heading east on Prince Sultan Road (Route 15). Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Prince Sultan Road. After another 2 km, turn right onto Al-Mahdiyah Street. Continue on this road for 3 km, where you will see signs for South Zoo. The zoo is located next to the Abraj Park, and you can park in the nearby parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach South Zoo using public transport, catch a local bus from the Abha central bus station. Look for buses heading towards Qaradah or Abraj Park. The bus fare is approximately 5 SAR. Inform the driver that you wish to go to South Zoo, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 500 meters) to the entrance of the zoo.
