Walking
If you are in Al Shatea, start by heading towards the main road, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Street (also known as Al-Mohammadiyah Street). Walk north towards the Al Mohammadiyyah district. You will know you are on the right path when you see several shops and cafes lining the street. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Globe Roundabout, which is marked by a large globe structure. The roundabout itself is located at M476+V7F. Make sure to stay on the pedestrian path for safety.
Public Transport
For those who prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus that services the Al Shatea area. Look for buses marked with signs pointing to 'Al Mohammadiyyah'. The fare for a bus ride is typically around 2 SAR. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to stop at the Globe Roundabout. The bus will drop you off a short walk away from the roundabout, and you will only need to walk a few minutes to reach your destination.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you're traveling with luggage or prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply open the app, enter 'Globe Roundabout, Al Mohammadiyyah, Jeddah' as your destination, and wait for your ride. The cost for this service may vary, but typically expect to pay between 15-25 SAR depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the driver and vehicle before getting in.
Use Globe Roundabout as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
