If you are starting from the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), exit the mosque and head north on Abdulaziz Al Saud Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Makkah Al Madinah Munawawrah Road. Turn left onto Makkah Al Madinah Munawawrah Road and walk about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Mecca Museum. The museum will be on your right side after approximately 20 minutes of walking.

From the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), walk to the nearest bus stop located on Al Masjid Al Haram Road. Board a public bus heading towards Az Zahir district. The fare is usually very affordable. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, and disembark at the Makkah Al Madinah Munawawrah Road stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Mecca Museum which will be on your right.

If you prefer a more comfortable journey, you can hire a local taxi. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to the Mecca Museum located on Makkah Al Madinah Munawawrah Road in Az Zahir.
