Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), head south on King Abdul Aziz Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Al Hijrah Street. Turn left onto Al Hijrah Street and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see Thowr Mountain on your right side as you approach the end of the street.

Walking
From the Abraj Al Bait Towers, exit the building and walk towards the King Abdul Aziz Road. Turn right and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Al Hijrah Street, turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. Thowr Mountain will be on your right, just past the Al Hijrah neighborhood.

Locate the nearest bus stop along King Abdul Aziz Road. Take any bus heading towards Al Hijrah. Inform the driver you want to get off at Al Hijrah. Once you arrive, walk east for about 500 meters along Al Hijrah Street, and you will see Thowr Mountain on your left.
